Does this Resonate?
In the spirit of Ma, the spacious pause that lets the right relationships form, we take time together to sense whether we truly resonate.
For communities, a Living Lab tends to resonate with those who:
Lead or nurture pioneering communities, incubators, or change agent collectives
Feel the importance of regenerative vitality, and are curious to explore it within their own ecosystem
Hope to nurture imagination and the courage to act, not only insight
Value deep, longitudinal inquiry over one-off metrics
Can hold a multi-cohort journey: hosting a community launch for each cohort and, if joining Compass, sharing the network survey
For practitioners, a partnership tends to resonate with those who:
Hold a distinctive way of exploring and knowing vitality, grounded in their own practice
Feel at home in the Living Lab's core foundation, especially in letting meaning emerge
Are glad to offer their lens alongside the core, never in place of it
Can walk with a community over time, across cohorts rather than a single session
Welcome co-stewardship: credit shared, value shared openly, and decisions shaped together
Are open to walking the Steward journey, or to learning alongside those who have
For Vitality Stewards, the role tends to resonate with those who (more on Vitality Stewards):
Love listening, and holding space for people's stories in all their dimensions
Feel at home in emergence, letting meaning arise rather than steering it
Bring deep care for privacy, consent, and the dignity of every person
Are willing to notice their own influence, and to tend their own vitality
Can walk with a community over time, across cohorts
These are all good questions to explore together in a first conversation.

If this resonates, we invite you to a 30-minute Resonance Call to explore what a Living Lab could look like in your community, how your own way of knowing might partner with it, or whether the Steward journey is calling you. A few brief intake questions beforehand allow us to arrive prepared to honor our shared energy. For communities, Living Labs are offered as a co-development service. In this early season, we are also inviting a few communities into pilot Living Labs, to grow the first stories together. We talk through the investment openly, including sliding-scale and sponsored places.
