No Living Lab grows alone. Each is one living place within a wider ecology: a decentralized signal network of communities, Vitality Stewards, and partners, nourishing one another. Each community holding a Living Lab is a node in a decentralized network, rooted in its own place and connected to others through a shared core, shared ways of working, and the Vitality Signal they co-develop. What is learned in one place can nourish another, while each community keeps sovereignty over its own story. The network is cosmo-local: Living Labs are its local anchors, and MAGICommons' Dialogic Lab (introduced in Roots) is its cosmo layer, extending the network's reach through open dialogue with Signal Bearers around the world.
Decentralized Signal Network
Communities, each holding its own Living Lab and, in time, perhaps growing its own Vitality Stewards.
Vitality Stewards, who carry the Living Lab into communities and co-shape how the network evolves.
Partner practitioners (emerging), who bring their own lenses, often with their own networks of communities.
Signal Bearers, the pioneers and practitioners of the Dialogic Lab, who extend the network's reach and wisdom.
Who Grows the Network
An ecosystem of offerings (emerging): change agents (coaches, somatic guides, experience designers and facilitators, researchers, and others) whose offerings can be recommended to a community in light of what it has learned, always as invitations.
Shared learning: what other communities have tried and discovered, shared with consent, so each Living Lab arrives in dialogue with a wider field of experience.
The Vitality Signal: in the Compass season, communities' discoveries come together in a shared, validated Signal, each community receiving its own results, never ranked against another.
Connection: introductions to other Living Labs, Stewards, and partners, where a community would welcome them.
So a Living Lab arrives not only with a mirror, but within a living network of pathways that can invite perspectives and experiences to shift, so that more vitality can flow, regeneratively.
Regenerative Incubator
Also emerging is a regenerative incubator: a space where high-potential change agents grow their own regenerative practices and offerings, so they can join the network as providers, or become Vitality Stewards themselves. With gratitude, we are co-weaving and co-building it with early partners, among them Conscious Conversation.
Co-Stewarding What We Create Together
What grows from a Living Lab is co-created, so it is co-stewarded. Each person keeps authority over their own words and creative work; each community over its portraits and data; each partner over its own lens. The Vitality Signal and other shared work are held as a commons, in trust, under a Creative Commons license, with every contributing community credited as it chooses. Value flows back to those who made it possible: through each community's full ownership of what it receives, a share of value for partner practitioners who co-host, and a solidarity fund for communities with fewer resources.
An emerging stewardship circle, with community, partner, and Steward voices, will guide how shared work evolves and how value flows, always with openness about any financial relationship.
